Abstract

The increased use of the Internet as a medium for the formation of common contracts has given rise to complex legal problems related to the time of formation and the appropriate law to govern the transaction. The purpose of this article is to evaluate the recent legislative developments aimed as facilitating contract formation and the continuing role of common law principles to the formation of contracts in a virtual environment
